INDIANAPOLIS-School board candidates will continue to run without party affiliation after a bill failed to get a vote in the House.
The bill would have required candidates to declare a political party, however questions arose if the candidates would have to go through the primary process.
Time ran out before a vote on the measure was called in the Indiana House.
