BRAZIL-The new President and COO of Great Dane, Rick Mullininx, recently visited Great Dane plants in Brazil and Terre Haute, as well as the Terre Haute Central Fabrication facility. Mullininx met with teams at all three facilities to share his vision for the Great Dane as the company strengthens its future-focus to provide innovative solutions to customers.

Mullininx has a strong connection to the area, having worked at Great Dane Brazil for ten years in the early part of his career and helping to establish the Great Dane Terre Haute plant.

“It was encouraging for our team to spend time connecting with Rick on a more personal level. He encouraged us to keep in mind that our ultimate goal is to delight our customers, and we won’t let Rick-or our customers-down,” said Cory Lookebill, plant manager of Great Dane Brazil.

During his meeting with employees, Mullininx expressed that the company will continue to build a skilled team that is more like family than co-workers. He emphasized that the team’s hard work is what makes the company a pioneering leader that others in the industry look up to.

“It was good to connect with the outstanding Great Dane teams in Wabash Valley. They give their best each day, sometimes under challenging conditions, to build quality products that keeps fleets on the road so people can get what they need when they need it. This team characterizes what makes Great Dane great,” said Mullininx.

The tour of Great Dane facilities in Wabash Valley were the first two stops as Mullininx begins his tour of all Great Dane manufacturing locations nationwide.
