VERMILLION COUNTY — On Friday, at 11:21 p.m., Vermillion County Dispatch received reports of a male subject walking on State Road 32 near the Illinois state line; knocking on doors asking for a ride.

Some time later, Deputies located Carlon Michaels (27) of Tuscola Illinois walking on County Road 200 west near County Road 1350 north.

It was discovered that Michaels had an outstanding warrant from the Illinois Department of Corrections; regarding a parole violation for aggravated battery and burglary.

Michaels was taken into custody without incident.

Michaels is currently being held at the Vermillion County Jail.
