INDIANAPOLIS: The body of missing toddler Oaklee Snow may have been found, according to local media outlets, after Indianapolis investigators say the remains of a child were discovered in Morgan County, about 27 miles south of Indianapolis.

As of Friday evening, the remains have not been positively identified as those belonging to Snow.

“We can confirm IMPD detectives located the remains of a child in Morgan County, Indiana,” said Lt. Shane Foley with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department in a message to IndyStar. “IMPD is the lead investigating agency.”

Foley said what led detectives to find the child’s remains are not being released at this time.

The Indiana State Police, the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office, and the Morgan County Coroner’s Office are assisting with the death investigation, Foley stated.
