TERRE HAUTE – The Vigo County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an attempted abduction that happened Wednesday morning.

The male suspect is white, in his 30s, 5-feet, 6 or 5-feet-7 inches tall and thin with dark brown hair. He was last seen wearing a blue hoodie sweat shirt and blue jeans.

He was last seen in the area of  Briggs Street North of State Road 246.
