The Clay County Coroner’s Office has identified the deceased victim that was involved in the homicide investigation in the 300 block of Leavitt Street, Brazil, on Thursday.

The victim has been positively identified as: William Matherly, 48, of Cloverdale

The family has been notified and the investigation continues .
