BRAZIL – Jon Luke Benjamin McGuff is scheduled to appear in Clay County Superior Court at 2:20 p.m. today to hear charges he murdered Billy Matherly last Thursday afternoon.

Following the repeated shooting in an alley behind 310 Leavitt St., McGuff turned himself in at the law office of Rowdy Williams on Wabash Avenue in Terre Haute.

Matherly was shot four times and one bullet remained in his body according to court records.
