Newly developing storms showing appreciable growth in eastern Illinois are expected to continue strengthening and move into western Indiana. Additional development this afternoon and early evening over central and southern Indiana is expected. Scattered strong to severe thunderstorms are likely in Indiana before the evening finishes, with damaging winds and hail being the primary threats. Keep weather aware this evening.
