Parke County REMC Completes Power Restoration Following Severe Storms

ROCKVILLE -Parke County REMC has restored all outages caused by the severe storms that occurred on June 29th and June 30th. We would like to express our sincere appreciation to our members for their patience and understanding throughout the restoration process.

During the course of the storms, we received reports of over 9,000 outages from our members. Crews worked around the clock until each outage was restored. All outages caused by the storms werecompleted by 4:00 a.m. today, Thursday, July 6th.

We would like to express our appreciation to the following for assisting our team in the restoration efforts: Jasper County REMC, Carroll White REMC, Kankakee Valley REMC, Hendricks Power Cooperative, Utility Management and Construction (UMAC), and BESCO contract crews. Additionally, we extend our appreciation to Parke Professional Services (PPS) for their contribution with tree removal.Members may call 800-537-3913 to report any outage
