PIMENTO – A family lost their home to fire Wednesday afternoon. The fire is believed to have started around 3:24 p.m.

Pierson Township Fire Chief JC Gummere said the house had no electricity and was powered by external generators, the likely cause.

The Red Cross is aiding the family.
