VIGO COUNTY – A man whose name has not yet been released died when his pickup truck left the roadway and crashed into a tree in southern Vigo County.

On July 30th at 3:51 p.m., deputies responded to a single vehicle crash on Louisville Rd in south eastern Vigo County, stated a news release from Vigo County Sheriff John Plasse. Initial investigation revealed that a pickup truck left the roadway for unknown reasons and crashed into a tree. The driver was deceased at the scene.
The name of the driver is being withheld pending family notification.
This crash is still under investigation.
