VIGO COUNTY, Indiana (DLC Media) – A 1.5 billion dollar project broke ground today in Vigo County. The project is the development of a lithium manufacturing project in Vigo County that is looking to bring jobs to the community.

The factory will be used to grow the US electric vehicle industry and could bring up to 650 jobs to Vigo County by the year 2027.

Development of the facility will bring in a projected 600 temporary jobs while the buildings are being built.
