ISU President retiring in 2024

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – On Wednesday during a press conference, Indiana State University President, Dr. Deborah Curtis announced she will retire at the end of the academic year.

President Curtis is the 12th President of the College, only the second alumnus in ISU history to hold the position and she is also the first female to be ISU’s President.

“It has been a tremendous privilege and honor to serve as President of this incredible institution,” President Curtis stated. “Working with dedicated faculty, staff and the Board of Trustees, I know Indiana State University will continue to do what it does best: positively and meaningfully impacting students’ lives.”
