Record Store Day 2023 Black Friday releases are announced

Record Store Day 2023 have revealed the list of special releases for their annual Black Friday celebration, which falls on November 24. Fans of various genres of music will once again be able to snag limited-edition vinyl titles sold exclusively at independent record shops throughout the U.S. and other countries.

Among the 175 releases that will be available are releases from Noah Kahan (a color marble vinyl version of his Cape Elizabeth EP), Post Malone (whose The Diamond Collection will be available on clear vinyl), Kim Petras, Jonas Brothers, All Time Low, Joni Mitchell, Willie Nelson, Dierks Bentley, and the Grateful Dead.

This year, the number of classic hip-hop titles has increased, in celebrating the 50th anniversary of the genre with reissues or collections being released as exclusives or “RSD First” items, including music from Prince, Dr. Dre, Lil Wayne, Nas, De La Soul, Madly, Schooly D, Three 6 Mafia, Digital Underground, Czarface, C-BO, Yungblud, Souls of Mischief, Spice 1, four Tuff City hip-hop compilations and the “Judgment Night” soundtrack.

Other 2023 Record Store Day Black Friday releases include music from The Beach Boys, Jeff Beck, late KISS drummer Eric Carr, The Doors, Justin Townes Earle, Faces, The Flaming Lips, Jerry Garcia & David Grisman, Goo Goo Dolls, Gov’t Mule, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, Norah Jones, Noah Kahan, Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Feat, Los Lobos, Aimee Mann, The Monkees, Mötley Crüe, Gram Parsons, Margo Price, Keith Richards, Leon Russell, and Billy Strings.
