TERRE HAUTE, Indiana (DLC Media) – As Terre Haute prepares to change the guard from sitting Mayor Duke Bennett to Mayor-elect Brandon Sakbun, both sides are working on their transition plan. Both sides have spoken very highly about the relationship between two parties as both want what is best for the community.

Bennett has said that he wants to make sure that Terre Haute continues to move forward, and he is making sure to help that process along by assuring the best transition that has ever happened following a Terre Haute election from one administration to another.

Sakbun has praised the Bennett administration for their cooperation during the transition process. Sakbun says that his staff is hard at work getting the most qualified team together for both the transition period as well as the future. Sakbun will take over as Mayor in January.
