VIGO COUNTY, Indiana (DLC Media) – A fire in Southern Vigo County left two families displaced. The fire happened near French Lake on Lake Road. The Pierson Township Fire Department responded to the fire which had already destroyed the garage by the time that the responders arrived.

A total of three homes were damaged by the fire. No Residents were injured in the blaze, however, a litter of puppies was killed in the garage. An additional four dogs survived the fire. Firefighters were able to stop the fire using water from the French Lake.
