TERRE HAUTE, Indiana (DLC Media) – Mayor-Elect Brandon Sakbun is in the process of naming different positions around Terre Haute. As of yesterday, Sakbun has named the new Fire Chief, who will begin once he has taken office.

Derrick Scott will take over the role of the current Fire Chief Bill Berry in Terre Haute. Scott was one of five applicants for the position. Last year Scott was named the Breakfast Optimist Club’s Firefighter of the Year. He has served with the Terre Haute Fire Department since 1991.
