TERRE HAUTE, Indiana (DLC Media) – A water main burst over the weekend causing an intersection to close down temporarily. The incident happened near the intersection of Locust and 19th street. The burst was reported at around 4 AM on Saturday.

According to the excavating team working on the break, the rupture in the line was about 8 inches in length. The cause of the burst was due to a deteriorating pipe. The intersection is still under construction. It is advised that drivers avoid that area.
