A Wind Chill advisory is in effect for the Valley. Very cold wind chills expected, as low as 25 below zero. Temperatures will fall to the single digits Saturday night. This
combined with winds of 10 to 20 mph will result in wind chill values near -20.
A prolonged period of frigid temperatures are expected Sunday into next week. Air temperatures will fall to below zero for parts of the area Sunday night and Monday night. Wind chills may
approach 20 below zero for parts of the area by Tuesday morning. The bitterly cold temperatures will raise concerns for ice jams along area rivers and streams from late this weekend into next
week.
