Police Chase Just Small Part in Warrant Service Detail

TERRE HAUTE, Indiana (DLC Media) – Yesterday we reported on a police chase that ended in the middle of Terre Haute. Now the Vigo County Sheriff’s Office says that this was part of a criminal activity task force unity which was conducting a warrant service detail. During this detail, deputies arrested 10 people and conducted 34 additional traffic stops which resulted in 24 traffic citations and 10 traffic warnings.

One of the arrests was the one that resulted in the police pursuit which began when officers attempted to pull over 29-year-old James Krolik. Krolik’s original charge was for Aggravated Battery. Here is the rest of the list of individuals who were arrested:

Shawn Padgett 26 years old (Charges: Operating a vehicle while intoxicated)
Tamara Thompson 37 years old (Charges: Driving while suspended prior)
Renee Brashier 35 years old (Charges: Driving while suspended prior)
Rebecca Elkins 55 years old (Charges: Possession of paraphernalia)
James Thompson 30 years old (Charges: Conversion)
