Terre Haute, In. – Beginning tomorrow (May 29, 20240) Wabash Avenue will temporarily be closed between 7th and 9th street for the grand opening ceremony of the Larry Bird Museum in the Terre Haute Convention Center. The street will reopen at 8am on May 31st. The ceremony will happen outside the Convention Center on the 30th. 10am to 4pm there will live music, food, family fun and games. Rumor has it that Larry Bird will be in attendance. The ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled for 10:30 am. The public is invited to the outside events but the museum will not be open to the public until the 31st. But you will need to make reservations online.
