Vigo County, In. – The Indiana State Police reports that the driver of a semi fell asleep Thursday morning while traveling on the Indiana 641 Bypass south of Terre Haute. The semi left the road, overturned and blocked both southbound lanes while the accident was cleaned up. The driver was taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Indiana State Police Sgt. Matt Ames reminds drivers to stay awake and alert while driving. Ames said drivers who feel sleepy should be responsible and pull over to a safe place to rest before continuing to operate a motor vehicle.
