Terre Haute, In. – Two organizations working to promote workforce training in The Wabash Valley have been awarded grants from the Duke Energy Foundation. Rose Hulman Institute of Technology was awarded $3,000 and The Western Indiana Workforce Investment Board received $7,000. Rose Hulman will use the funds to support a free Vigo County high school robotics team. The Work Force Board’s grant will be used for its Jobs for America’s Graduates program in area counties. The program teaches students in-demand skills and gets them on track for higher education.
