New Wellness Coordinator for Vigo Purdue Extension Office

Terre Haute, In. – The Purdue Extension Nutrition Program welcomes Chloee Hurst as the new Vigo County Wellness Coordinator. Hursts job entails improving nutrition and health in limited resource communities statewide by concentrating on NEP’s five focus areas: diet quality, physical activity, food security, food safety and food resource management. Hurst graduated from Indiana State University with a bachelor’s in dietetics.  She’s a registered dietitian and also serves on the board of Team Acorn Triathlon Club, the Maple Center for Integrative Health and is a cross-country coach for West Vigo Middle School.
