Vermillion County, In. – Recently Parke County EMS began coverage of Vermillion County as well as Parke County.  According to Ambulance Service Director Julie Lanzone there will be ambulance stationed along the major highways leading Parke and Vermillion counties.  They predict that response time will be increase in both counties and the service much better. The main thing that Lanzone want to make clear is that coverage will remain the same.  Jim Meece, President of the Parke County Board of Commissioners said “These are the kinds of opportunities that counties should take advantage of and work together. We don’t all have to reinvent the wheel every time. There are good things that can be done by finding some common ground and going toward things together,”
