STATEWIDE — There is still a shortage of blood available in Indiana that hospitals are in need of to help patients.  Versiti Blood Center of Indiana is one of the primary organizations that supplies over 60 hospitals throughout the state with blood. On average, they say they collect around 130,000 units of blood a year, but Versiti leaders say they are on track to fall short of that benchmark.  They are asking you to donate as much as you are able. If you would like to donate blood the process to sign up to do so is simple. Go to versity.org, visit any blood center, or attend local blood drives. The Versiti blood center in Terre Haute. Is located at 2021 S 3rd St.
