Could a Railroad Overpass Be In Downtown Terre Haute’s Future?

Terre Haute, In. – Last week the Terre Haute City Council approved a transfer of $100,000 from the Margaret Ave. project to be used for a study of the railroads through the downtown area. This is the first step in building an overpass or underpass in the center of the city.  The Study would search for the right spot to best serve the residents and first responders. This is just the beginning.  It could take years for a project such as this to come to reality.
