Terre Haute, In. – Around 5am Monday morning Terre Haute Police Officers attempted to stop a car at 13^th and Polar for various traffic violations.  Instead of stopping the driver took off heading north on 13^th street running several traffic lights and stop signs.  At 13^th and Maple, the driver lost control and crashed into the porch of a home.  The driver was identified as 19-year-old Eric McIntosh.  He had an active parole violation out of Decatur County.  He was arrested and charged with resisting law enforcement, auto theft, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, possession of marijuana, and false informing.
