Brazil, In. – Late Tuesday morning The Indiana State Police were notified of two suspicious suitcase bags in the lobby of the U.S. Post Office in Brazil.  According to Post Office staff the bags had been in the lobby overnight.  The State Police Explosive Ordinance Team (EOD) was called in to investigate while authorities cleared the building and the Goodwill building next door. There were no threats called into the building but with the nature of today’s society it was natural to be suspicious.  An X-ray machine was used to see inside the bags which were opened, and it was determined that there was nothing dangerous inside.  The Post Office and the Goodwill building were reopened just after 2pm.  The FBI assisted in the investigation.
