Terre Haute, In. – In May Terre Haute Police Department officers responded to a report of a baby in cardiac arrest on North 13th ½ street. When the officers arrived, the baby was dead. The Terre Haute Police began an investigation that led them to believe that neglect by the baby’s parents caused the death. On Tuesday 22-year-old Chantell Bender and 21-year-old Amecie K. Woods were arrested and charged with Neglect of a Dependent, resulting in Death.
