Terre Haute, In. – A grant of just over $150,000 has been awarded to the city of Terre Haute by the Indiana Department of Natural Resources to conduct projects in underserved or disadvantaged areas of the community. These projects include tree inventory or urban tree canopy assessment, education/training, tree planting, management and response plans among others. The grant money comes from the Inflation Reduction Act. The IDNR received 23 requests for grants totaling over $4 million.
