Accident Near SR 163 River Bridge Seriously Injures Clinton Woman

Parke County, In. – Wednesday afternoon a car, driven by 50-year-old James Robert Renfro of Rosedale was westbound on State Road 163, near the river bridge, when he crossed the center line and collided with a vehicle driven by 69-year-old Mary Sloan of Clinton.  Sloan was transported to the hospital in Terre Haute with significant leg and lower body injuries. Renfro was booked in the Parke County Jail for DUI resulting in serious bodily injury. He is being held in the Parke County Jail on $8,000 bond.
