Vigo County, In. – Just after 8:30 Thursday morning a pickup truck driven by 34-year-old Corey R, Yund of Crawfordsville was west bound on I-70 when he slowed and attempted to make a U-turn at the interstate crossover near the 16-mile marker. He was rearended by a truck driven by 21-year-old Tyler Nusbaumer of Indianapolis. Yunds truck was forced across the median into the eastbound lane where it was struck by a semi.  Yund was extracted from his truck and transported by ambulance to the hospital. There were no other injuries reported. Sgt Matt Ames of the Indiana State Police reminds drivers it is illegal to make a U-turn on an interstate highway.  The crossovers are for Highway workers. Emergency vehicles and police officers.
