Terre Haute, In. – Friday Chances and Services for Youth held the 18th annual Dancing with the Terre Haute Stars. The event was held at Hulan Center in front of a sold out crowd. This year’s Dancing with the Terre Haute Stars raised a record $417,000 for Chances and Services for Youth (CASY ) programs. This year’s winner was Jonathon Wright the owner of Wrights Pool Service. Wright was the top fund raiser which landed him the top award. He danced the Waltz with Luna Rogers and instructor at The Dance Studio. Wright worked hard conduction multiple fund raisers to raise the most funds for CASY. There were a total of 12 contestants in the event. Officials at CASY say at least $150, 000 of the funds raised will be used in opening a new childcare facility on the east side of the county.
