Terre Haute, In. – Ten not-for-profit organizations in the Wabash Valley have received grants from the The Wabash Valley Community Foundation.  They are: YMCA of the Wabash Valley – $20,000, CANDLES Holocaust Museum & Education Center – $25,000, Down Syndrome Indiana – $4,500, Hendricks County Child Advocacy Center (Susie’s Place) – $8,725, Sheldon Swope Art Museum – $15,000, Team of Mercy – $15,000, Terre Haute Area Meals on Wheels – $6,000, Vigo County Commissioners – $5,000, Terre Haute South Touchdown Football Booster Club – $5,500 and the Vigo County Education Foundation – $25,000.  The Lilly Endowment’s GIFT Initiative will be matching $2 for each $1 in these grants.
