Covered Bridge Festival Begins

Parke County, In. – Indiana’s Largest Festival kicks off today in Parke County.  The Parke County Covered Bridge Festival boasts that over a million people will visit the county during the 10-day event.  The festival began in 1957 and showcases the county’s 31 covered Bridges and features authentic arts and crafts, fantastic food, and beautiful fall foliage.  Events will be going on at 9 communities in the county as well as flea markets and yard sales lining the roads in and out of the county. The festival is open daily from 9 am to 6pm and it’s free to attend.
