Vigo County, In. – High winds and dry condition are not a good combination.  Tuesday fire crews from around the county were busy fighting grass and brush fires.  One of the largest fires was at intersection of State Road 63 and Bolton Road.  The cause is not known but as fast as the fire crew knocked it down the wind flared it up again.  Another fire was burning in the vicinity of Cobblestone Crossing causing a lot of smoke blowing toward the buildings.  All of the counties in the Wabash Valley have issued burn bans banning any outside burning.
