Terre Haute, In. – Veterans Village, located at 2227 Maple Ave. in Terre Haute, is nearing completion of 6 tiny homes.   The project began in 2001 with the hope of building 6 tiny homes to help local veterans get back on their feet. The veterans will come in for 9 months to a year to get established, get an address and get some resources. The goal is to be a transition to permanent housing for the veterans. Officials say the project will be completed by the end of the year.
