Terre Haute, In. – Dr. Mike Goddard was officially installed at the 13th President of Indiana State University on Friday. The ceremony featured an academic procession and presidential medallion presentation, symbolizing institutional authority and control. Those that attended the installation heard a message from Terre Haute Mayor Brandon Sakbun and virtual messages from Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb and Senator Todd Young. During Dr. Goddard’s inaugural address, he spoke on his vision for the university during his term in office, focusing on increasing student enrollment, expanding workforce development initiatives, and strengthening community partnerships.
