Vigo County, In. – The Vigo County School Corporation has initiated a pilot program of providing students and staff professional healthcare within the local high schools. The clinics are operated by Valley Professional Healthcare. The school corporation decided to test the program after seeing the concept operating in Parke County. The clinics offers many things, such as COVID or strep testing, blood work, ordering tests, X-rays that need to be done, vaccines, well visits, sports physicals and more, Valley Professionals also has a therapist in the clinics that can help with mental health issues and counseling as well. The cost and payment process is like the regular clinic except it’s in a school. The only difference is the in-school location. Once parental consent from the student’s parents is obtained, they’re able to give insurance information
