Terre Haute, In. – The Terre Haute Redevelopment Commission received two bids from Construction companies from Indianapolis for the old Terre Haute police station at 12th and Wabash. Mizak-Terre Haute LLC, created by WDG Construction, had submitted a bid in May of 2022 but couldn’t arrange financing. They say they now have the backing needed submitted another bid last Wednesday. They pledge an investment of $12.4 million. The other bid came from Flaherty and Collins Properties. They call the property a “cornerstone of growth”. Their investment would total $37 million. The Redevelopment Commission will now go through both proposals and will announce their decision at their December 18th meeting.
