Vigo County, In. – The Vigo County Sheriff Office reports that a two-car accident occurred at the intersection of East Harlan Drive and South Carlisle Street Tuesday afternoon.  Accident investigators say that a minivan and a pickup truck were stopped at the 4 way stop sign at the intersection waiting for a semi to make a turn.  When the semi cleared the intersection both vehicles took off with the minivan striking the pickup truck in the passenger side. Both vehicles sustained heavy damage. An elderly passenger in the minivan was taken to the hospital suffering with minor injuries.
