Vermillion County, In. – The Black Diamond Fire Department in Clinton has received a $10,000 grant from Duke Energy.  The Department will use the grant money to upgrade equipment, specifically hose. Firehose is very expensive and hard to replace for a small department.  About 1500 feet of hose will be purchased.  The hose Black Diamond is planning on buying is designed to last 10 years.
