Terre Haute, In. – Vigo County Deputies responded to a single vehicle accident just after noon Wednesday near the entrance to The Indiana Air Guard base on State Road 42.  They found a car in the ditch with the driver trapped inside.  It appeared the vehicle was west bound on Sate Road 42 when it crossed over into the eastbound lane at the roundabout, struck a curb sending the vehicle off the road striking a utility pole then ending up in the ditch. Emergency crews removed the driver from the vehicle, and it appeared he had suffered a medical emergency causing him to lose control of the vehicle.  He was transported to the hospital for treatment.
