Washington D.C. – Members of the Indiana national Guard along with Guard members from 40 other states and territories are in Washington D.C. to provide support for the inauguration of President Trump.  The Guard members will be managing the crowd and traffic and will respond to civil disturbances. The National Guard played a role in presidential inaugurations in the past.  Most recently, the Indiana National Guard served during the inaugurations in 2017 and 2021.
