Vermillion County, In. – Dave Chapman the South Vermillion Community School Corp. superintendent has announced his retirement to the school board during their meeting Monday. Chapman has been the superintendent for the last 17 years. Before coming to South Vermillion Chapmen worked for the Vigo County School Corporation for 15 years where he was dean of students, assistant principal and principal at West Vigo High School. Chapman’s Retirement will be effective June 30th, 2025.
