Vigo County, In. – Deputies of the Vigo County Sheriff’s office responded to a report of a collision between an SUV and a person in a motorized wheelchair Monday afternoon at East Crossing Blvd. And South Winthrop Court. When deputies arrived the victim that had been in the wheelchair was being treated by Honey Creek Fire Department personnel before being transported, by helicopter, to an Indianapolis hospital.  The Sheriff’s Office said that neither drugs nor alcohol were a factor in the accident.
