Terre Haute, In. – On Tuesday the Terre Haute Police Department introduced K-9’s Simba and Pito.  Both dogs are German Shepherds with a little bit of Belgian Malinois in them.  The dogs come from a European kennel whose extremely disciplined dogs appeal to both military and police organizations around the world.  Five weeks ago, Lt. Justin Sears, an experienced K-9 handler and trainer, began training the Dogs.  They will live with their partners as part of their bonding process. Simba’s partner is Officer Andrew Joliff. Pito’s partner is Officer Jeffrey Knopp.
