Vigo County – At their Tuesday meeting the Vigo County Council voted to approve a 4% salary increase for county employees.  The council voted 4-3 passing the motion.  Employees of the Vigo County Highway Department were well represented at the meeting, but they are not the only ones getting a raise.  All general employees will benefit.  The pay increase become effective in January.
