BRAZIL — A driver carrying drugs was arrested Saturday night near Harmony on US 40.

He was pulled over for faulty equipment on his vehicle

During the stop, the Clay County Deputy arrested Michael Custer, 33, of Brazil. In the vehicle was suspected methamphetamine, marijuana, and paraphernalia. Deputies also discovered a firearm inside the vehicle.

Custer was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine – Level 4 Felony;
Possession of Marijuana – B Misdemeanor; Possession of Paraphernalia – C Misdemeanor; and Driving While Suspended – A Misdemeanor.
